Privacy Policy

The short version

Your birth data for the BaZi chart is calculated entirely inside your browser and never sent anywhere. When you ask for an AI reading, your cast and your written question are sent to our server to generate it. We use standard, privacy-respecting analytics. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising networks on this site.

What never leaves your browser

Birth date, time and gender entered on the BaZi page are processed locally by JavaScript running on your device. Your birthday is not transmitted, stored, or logged by us.

Small technical values (your in-progress cast, and a counter of your free readings) are stored in your own browser's local storage so a page refresh does not lose your cast. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we process when you use a reading

When you request an AI reading, we send to our server: the six lines you cast, the category you picked, and the question text you wrote. Our server passes this to a third-party AI service provider to compose the reading, and returns the result to your browser. We do not build advertising profiles from this content, and we do not publish it.

Please avoid writing real names of third parties or sensitive personal secrets in your question. A good question describes the situation, not the people in it.

Accounts

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to identify your account, and set a login session cookie. You can sign out at any time; signing out removes the session cookie. You can also use the site fully without an account.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (which pages are visited, where visitors get stuck). These services may set cookies and record anonymised interaction data such as clicks and scroll depth. You can block them with any cookie-blocking extension or browser setting without losing site functionality.

Payments

Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Subotiz. When you purchase a reading, card details are entered on Subotiz's hosted checkout and are never visible to us. We receive a payment confirmation and the email address used for the purchase, solely to deliver the product and handle refunds.

Data retention & deletion

Reading content is not retained by us longer than needed to deliver it. Server logs are kept for a short operational window. If you want data associated with your account deleted, email us and we will delete it.
